74 Clinics. One IPO

Singapore’s capital markets are poised to welcome a new private healthcare player as Foundation Healthcare Holdings is set to make its debut soon. The Singapore-based group, backed by SeaTown Holdings, is planning to raise up to S$242 million (about US$187 million) through its initial public offering on the Singapore Exchange.

SeaTown Holdings is an indirect unit of Singapore’s state investor Temasek Holdings. The company is expected to debut on July 8. This latest bet on healthcare is backed by strong institutional interest, including asset managers and development finance institutions. It comes at a time when healthcare demand in Asia continues to grow and markets like Singapore and private healthcare sectors in markets like Singapore and Hong Kong remain in focus.

Company And IPO Details:

Founded in 2023, Foundation Healthcare has expanded rapidly in the private healthcare market. It operates 74 specialist clinics across Singapore, covering 16 medical specialities and running four medical centres. It reported strong financial performance, with pro forma revenue increasing 32% to S$265.9 million in 2025 and profit rising 41.5% to S$48.4 million.

Shares of the IPO are expected to be priced between S$0.76 and S$0.92. This implies a valuation of about S$1.01 billion to S$1.20 billion.

The base offering totals about S$124 million. Of this, around S$117 million is set aside for global institutional investors. About S$7 million will be offered to retail investors in Singapore.

Reportedly, new shares will make up 41.4% of the offer. The remaining 58.6% consists of existing shares sold by current investors.

The net proceeds from the IPO will be used to fund investments and acquisitions of clinical practices and medical centres in Singapore. The group is also eyeing expansion into new geographies such as Malaysia and Hongkong. Some funds will also go toward general corporate needs and working capital.

Institutional Investors Show Interest:

The IPO will include about S$118 million worth of shares allocated for cornerstone investors before the public offer. These investors include Amova Asset Management Asia, Aregence Capital, Granite Asia, Hood River Capital Management, International Finance Corporation, Lion Global Investors, Manulife Investment Management, Openspace Capital, RBC Global Asset Management and UBS, Reuters reported.

Investor Interest In Asian Healthcare Market:

Healthcare assets across Southeast Asia are witnessing rising demand due to increasing affluence and an ageing population in the region.

These factors, combined with rising medical costs and faster adoption of technology are attracting more capital into drug development, medical devices, diagnostics, healthcare infrastructure and health technology across Asian markets. Additionally, healthcare as a sector is being seen as more resilient during periods of economic uncertainty.
